How to Use an Onahole: Preparation, Use, and Aftercare for Beginners

Using an onahole for the first time, plenty of people feel unsure: what to prepare, how much lubricant to use, and how to wash it afterward.

Using an onahole isn't difficult in itself. But use it without enough preparation and friction can end up too strong, or aftercare can become a chore.

Using Lubricant

When using an onahole, work lubricant into the entrance and the interior. Start with a small amount and add more if needed, adjusting as you go.

Wanting to keep it clean, don't reach for alcohol, bleach, or strong disinfectant sprays.

They can dry out the onahole's material and cause hardening, cracking, or discoloration.

Dry the Interior Thoroughly

After washing, dry it fully, interior included, not just the outside.

Even if the outside looks dry, moisture left inside becomes a source of odor and mold.

Blot the outside moisture with a soft towel first. Then stand it entrance-down to drain, and let it air-dry somewhere well ventilated.

If the interior tends to stay damp, an absorbent drying aid like a dry stick helps. Just don't force it in deep or scrub the interior hard.

Store Only Once Fully Dry

Store the onahole only once it's completely dry.

Bag or box it while damp and the trapped humidity breeds odors and mold.
